Packing for the flight to Africa
• U-shaped neck pillow (blow-up)
• Books/magazines
• Toiletries

• Ipod and music
• Eye shades, ear plugs
• Melatonin or other sleep aid
• Critical gear (in case baggage is delayed)
• Throat lozengers and flu medication

Footwear
• Sturdy, comfortable worn in shoes, preferrably waterproof. They will get dirty.
• Tennis shoes or sandals for lounging in the evening
• Comfortable, breathable socks

Clothing – Mozambique does allow hunting camouflage. We recommend brown (beige) colours as the majority of hunting is done in the dryer months.
• 3 x shorts, mid-thigh or zip off long trousers (brown / beige colours)
• 3 x lightweight, breathable pants
• 3 x short or long-sleeved shirts, cool and breathable (brown / beige colours)
• 1 x sweater for over nighting in Johannesburg and for evenings (brown / beige colours)
• Day pack, for you to carry
• Sun hat with brim
• Sunglasses
• Headlamp or flashlight with spare batteries
• Camera with spare memory card
• Video camera, tapes and charger
• Batteries - spares
• Binoculars
• Notebook, pencil and pen
• Pocket knife (remember to place in your checked luggage)
• Chocolate, candy, sweets and momentos for guides, trackers and skinners
• Electricity adapter. Africa runs on 220v. Kambako camps run on 2 and 3 prong round plugs.

• Pain killers - Ibuprofin, Aceteminophen, or Aspirin

• 2 x rolls of Black or camouflaged DUCT tape
• Allen wrenches for tightening scope mounts
